YOUR DOG DOESN'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU KNOW BUT HE KNOWS HOW MUCH YOU CARE The Amstaff is a very highly active dog, originally bred as an all round farm dog that requires a lot of attention. Please do not consider this breed if you are not prepared to spend lots of time with this dog. Pride, strength and loyalty are just a few of the Amstaffs positive qualities. Add in intelligence versatility and affection towards people, and you have a well rounded dog that makes a wonderful addition to the right family. What the Amstaff has to offer depends entirely on the dog’s owner. His capabilities are boundless: strength insurmountable, desire to please unending, an ideal animal for activity and labour. Yet at the same time this breed makes a truly wonderful companion, a sociable animal to family and friends, with the added capability as a guardian. Obedience training is essential for this breed.

Our first dog (Banjo) was purchased as a pet off Towilla kennels. Due to the many comments made that Banjo was such an impressive dog we decided to show him. As time went on we started to become more involved with the breed and before you knew it we were hooked. We decided to import a bitch from the U.S.A which was Jesse from Epicure. We had borrowed Molly off some very good friends of ours (Newbelle) to socialize Banjo for when Jesse arrived. We had all grown very fond of her and when it was time to give her back we just couldn’t. Sorry Malcolm & Kathryn.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped us with our dogs and all the people who are involved with the protection of our breed. There’s a lot of work that goes into our breed clubs that doesn’t get recognized. WELL DONE GUY’S. WARNING: Once you have owned an Amstaff no other dog is good enough. We are a kennel that believes in health first and the wellbeing of our pups. All our pups are co-owned by our kennel or go on limited papers.
